video games arthritis

How can I prevent arthritis in the hands and carpal tunnel?
I work two jobs, both demand hard work of my hands. I serve Chilis and often carry plates and trays, and I am the cook at a preschool and lots of big meals washing dishes and cooking. At the time I get home, it is physically difficult to do what I like best: playing video games. Lately I've been more and more trouble crushing the Rock Band guitar because my fingers are locked up and my joints are strained. Continually holding down the right trigger in GTA IV is also difficult. My reactions are slowed in Halo 3, since the joints freeze up. Get different jobs is not an option right now. What I need is to know some good stretches / treatments I can do throughout the day. If I have my video games, then it is really sad. Thanks
I had that problem and the doctor gave me a plastic that is heated and formed to my hand and fingers and put velcro to hold it in place and said to use when I slept and as I could in the day and cured my problem that could take two weeks or two months. Check into a hand specialist or ask your doctor can get a splint, as I described. really works. My fingers are kept under key on me because the tendons were damaged or over worked.
