arthritis treatment lower back
Has anyone had good results with prolotherapy?
My elderly mother suffers from several "diagnosed" problems such as arthritis, spondolosis, repaired and 2 () compression fractures in the lower back over the past six years. Having exhausted all conventional treatments, we have seen a specialist in pain management, which recommended "prolotherapy." I understand the concept behind it. I'm not sure it's worth the pain and the price they have to support and that is not covered by insurance. If you have had this treatment, I'd love to know if it helped to or not.
Have you exhausted all medical treatment for his mother? Prolotherapy is a relatively new concept. So much hype with him, even some advocates claim they can cure internal derangement of the knee. Before entering it for his mother, consider why you are not covered by insurance companies. I would not rush into it, if I were you.
