Sorry to hear that. My aunt was diagnosed at 23 (only after she had her first child) and is now 45 and is far from being in a wheelchair, although is quite serious. She had her second child 13 years after diagnosis. She is a fighter and almost never seems down about it. She seems to have bad times when stressed. I also remember her crying once when I was little and her RA was in an early stage, saying he was afraid he was going to end up in a wheelchair, thank God that she has lived life to the fullest and is currently working full time despite being told (officially) may apply for disability. It is quite coincidence I saw this question because I was just looking for glucosamine in the network to buy their …. I know it was your question, but if your doctor has approved you to take glucosamine with chondroitin, which really helps my aunt. He was looking for the best deal on the net for over an hour and found the best prices on http://www.healthydirect.com/ Moreover, this could be of interest and would also be worth http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/6763017.stm get an appointment with a nutritionist if you have not already, it seems, certain foods are better than others to have if someone has RA. All the best for the future!
