family member with bone marrow of cancer?
my mother recently had a complete blood analysis done in which he said his platelets and hemoglobin levels were high. she has an appointment with hemotologist in the cancer center a week from today. My husband and I decided to investigate these high conditions and found a lot of final results of bone marrow cancer? We are very concerned and worried about what is happening. opinions on any other conditions? Also survivial rate of bone marrow cancer. would have no symptoms of bone marrow cancer. his wrist has always bothered her (I was hurt, but she just goes and does not think much about it, she has arthritis), but recently, the doctor said it was broken. she cannot seem to pin point a time when this happens. thanks for the answers!
Nobody can answer your question, because it is not specific enough. cancer bone marrow could mean any one of four main types or the lesser of five or six known or even multiple Myleoma Leukemia. You will probably have to wait for a definitive diagnosis and more questions to your doctor. You can read more about leukemia and other blood diseases: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society http://www.cancer.net/patient/Cancer+Types/Multiple+Myeloma multiple http://www.leukemia-lymphoma.org/hm_lls Myleoma You can locate the different types of leukemia: http://www.cancer.net/patient/Cancer+Types word of advice. . . Ignore the statistics and "survival rates.. Is not intended to define an individual. . . each person responds differently. . people are not statistics.
