steroids arthritis pain
What is the best pain reliever, in addition to steroids for rheumatoid arthritis?

The best options out there are drugs meant to slow the progression of the disease. I am on Humira treatment and has been a lifesaver for me. My sister, who has psoriatic arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis and PA are treated the same), use Remicade, a drug IV in the same class of drugs. My rheumy is very careful about prescribing anti-inflammatory for me due to gastrointestinal problems. I never thought I would find relief of RA until I started Humira. This may take 2-4 weeks to start working, or so I said, but I was able to tell a difference in less than a week, and I was in a pretty severe outbreak when I started using it. Humira is a drug administered as an injection (subcutaneous. .. AKA SQ). Hope this helps! feel better and good luck! Me
