severe joint pain with fever
Sudden onset muscle group?

I am a 45 years old and have been beaten by a sudden and severe pain in my shoulders, hips, knees, wrists and neck. I also have a low degree (99) fever. My family doctor is running blood tests for several types of arthritis and Virus West Nile (which was recently found in my city). I can not wait for the blood to return. Can anyone help me with this. The doctor gave me Lortab, but I am suffering. Can anyone give me an answer of what this could be?

Fifth disease? Usually, the illness of a child with a rash (first on the cheeks and body) as the main symptom, but in adults may affect joints. Http: / / www.wisegeek.com/what-is-fifths- disease.htm
