rheumatoid arthritis medical management

I have rheumatoid arthritis, massage is recommended by the Arthritis Foundation, however, masseurs, no ….. Why?

We constantly see the recommedation for massage and pain management option for this debilitating disease – the medical community, however, when any LMT are contacted, no I can not find anything that will give massages to people with this disease —- Why the discrepancy? Another "fear factor demand? O, Insurance dictacting procedures doctors? "Because this is a common recommendation for RA, I do not understand the lack of service in this area. Help!

Massage causes of increased blow flow which is what we want to avoid, because it can lead to inflammation.
