Nurses need help with health promotion for Rheumatoid Arthritis patients?

I'm confused with health education for patients with RA with health promotion for patients with RA. Can anyone give me examples of health promotion for patients with RA? (I) is reassuring that the patient from excruciating pain consider as health promotion? (Ii) giving seminar about the disease itself to the community that speaks of the disease, how progress, what are the signs and symptoms are also considered health promotion? (iii) correct me if I'm wrong, health education is educate the patient about how the disease process, how to manage it etc and health promotion is to promote the health of the patient in itself that includes comforting, providing awareness, etc.

your right … education is very important. For a patient with RA in the number one thing is pain control, such as teaching techniques various drugs such as heating pads or shower, massage, distraction like music or television. Another would be to educate them on proper exercises ROM to maintain and improve joint function. They were also informed about protectin the articulation and modification of daily tasks to deal with ADL. And the number one health promotion would be to provide the community with education on how to identify symptoms of RA to enhance the diagnosis Early and TX.
