Is it arthritis? What really relieves pain medication?
A month ago, my parents, knees and hands began to swell and hurt. Hes gone to the doctor to check many times and told that they have nothing. Sometimes it's hard for him to get in and out of chairs for the pain in his knees. And there are other times when you cannot open a plastic bottle of water because of pain in the fingers. (sometimes even cannot move). Is it arthritis? What medicine really relieves the pain?

If the knee is warm you can say there is a lot of inflammation. I Kow dr. Medications may be prescribed prescription (for a fact), piroxicam sometimes take mine to take the swelling out. And not all the time that all the pain go away. But there is some relief.
