joint pain after surgery
I have limited movement and pain 3 years after radial head replacement, anyone else with this?
I had surgery radial replacement of the head in 2004 and now I am experiencing joint "lock" the stiffness and discomfort (if 3 years later!). I just read online it's not supposed to lift more than 5 # with the injured arm after surgery. Never heard this, this is true, this is true for all? Is there anyone out there that has an answer? Anyone has the same problem?
I broke the radial head last may, but need a joint replacement. I said these injuries often lead to similar problems. After my injury I could not straighten his arm and had a similar problem with the locking of the joint. I several months of physiotherapy and helped me a lot. Fully straighten his arm now, but I still have the problem of deadlock. Maybe get some physio to see if that helps.
