arthritis symptoms ankle
Rheumatoid arthritis and joint question?
I'm 25 years old, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 2006. Lately, every day my right ankle gets stiff and cracks very loudly. I have not had a problem with the symptoms of RA in other parts of my body in the last 5-6 months. Is there a problem with my ankle stiffness that can respond with counter medications? Any ideas? Thanks! Thanks to the first response. I try to stop cracking my ankle, but most of the time, breaks itself when I move or walk. = (
I'm sorry but there are physicians who believe that cracking joints can lead arthritis. This is a myth that was discredited decades ago. If fact if the problem could worsen. Not to pop you have to keep moving. It is important with any type of arthritis to maintain joint movement and muscles and tendons around strong and flexible. First you need to see your doctor. While this may be an outbreak of the RA. It may also be another underlying problem. Normally, an upsurge in RA affects more than one joint. Having RA is possible that you did something to put the stress or trauma to the joint. This can cause significant localized swelling. If this is the case, can be treated. One of the best counter products I know of is omega-3 fatty acids. These have proven in testing to be as many as any OTC drug effect. It also has many health benefits. If you what you decide to try either a product of a source of fish or no fish product that has been purified to remove metals and is enteric coated to prevent that the fish burps.
